OurGents
Programs
OurGents (a program of OurGEMS) is a mentoring group focused on improving the lives of young men ages 12-21. Community partners serve as mentors, models, advocates and champions for our young men. These leaders take a personal interest in the academic success and social development of our young men. We currently serve young men in Kitsap County, Washington and in Phoenix, Arizona.

Building
Character
We are teaching young men their character should be marked by integrity, respect (self-respect and respect of others), dignity and honor. All actions, whether in business or in life should be guided by fairness, empathy, compassion, honesty and ethics. We are training them to be “real” gentlemen in a world where crude behavior has become the norm.
Developing
Scholars
We are teaching young men to aggressively pursue their education and acquire a thirst for knowledge (always seeking to learn more about themselves and the world around them).
Preparing
Leaders
“Much is expected of those to whom much is given.” We are preparing young men to be leaders who serve their families, communities and the world. Young men will learn to share their time, gifts, talents and resources with their community and world. They will learn to create their own legitimate opportunities for leadership and civic engagement.
