OurGEMS is the premier source to empower girls to reach their fullest potential by building the permanent skills and resources that cannot be taken away. Through mentoring, we promote self esteem, the value of education, and the development of leadership skills by the introduction of diverse experiences and perspectives. We encourage girls to advocate for themselves educationally, excel in school, attend college, and return to their communities as successful women.

Snack Program
Gives every student a snack and drink at each mentoring session. Our goal is to offer snacks that are (a) low cost, (b) healthy, (c) appealing that will provide that nutritional boost needed to complete their school day.
STEM for GEMS
STEM for GEMS is an evening of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for young ladies. Kitsap Regional Library, Rice, Fergus Miller Architecture and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard Women Engineers collaboration helps expand our girls’ knowledge and abilities in STEM through fun and educational science activities.
